Working in travel means being part of one of the most exciting and rewarding industries in the world! The earning potential is incredible, and the flexibility allows you to run your business around your lifestyle. Whether that’s full-time, part-time, or alongside other commitments.
For our family, travel has always been a real passion. However, as holidays become increasingly expensive, especially for families, I wanted a smarter way to enjoy them. I used to book our trips directly online or with hotels, completely unaware that every single holiday included built-in commission which went straight to the travel company!
Now, as an independent travel agent with Adventures with Malena, I can book those exact same holidays, access exclusive travel rates, and keep the commission for myself. It’s the perfect way to turn something I love into a flexible and rewarding business.
Absolutely! Our Travel Host company is over 30 years old and is a proud member of ABTA and ATOL. If we weren’t legitimate then companies like Santa’s Lapland, Royal Caribbean, James Villas and Mr & Mrs Smith wouldn’t have partnered up with us.
You don’t need any previous experience at all.
We provide comprehensive free training through all our travel suppliers, along with ongoing optional in-house sessions to help you grow at your own pace. You can choose to specialise in areas such as Disney holidays, luxury family travel, or cruises to name just a few!
Once you’ve joined, you’ll also be added to our team WhatsApp chat, where you’ll receive continuous support and guidance whenever you need it. You’ll never be on your own in this journey.
Not at all. We can book holidays in the UK and abroad. When you join you get an IATA number which is a legal requirement to book holidays. I can contact ANY hotel worldwide and receive a commissionable agent rate – just for having travel agent status!
That’s not a problem, you can cancel anytime. There are no minimum terms and no contract.
There’s an initial one off payment of £156, which buys you both your travel business and the travel affiliate business. It includes your IATA license charge, which will be the number that gives you global recognition as a travel agent.
You then pay £46 a month; which covers your admin, support, insurance and back office systems. All training is included within this.
Mandatory training takes around 2-3 hours, all online in your own time. Most people do this in an evening. You will then be licensed to book holidays!
There are lots of other online trainings such as supplier trainings, tips on how to book as an agent, how to build a business and much more – all of these can be done as and when suits you in your own time.
Absolutely yes! You are your own boss and can give this as much or as little time as you like. We have a huge variety of people in the team including doctors, lawyers, journalists, beauticians and personal trainers to name but a few.
No. The travel business is not network marketing. As a Travel Agent, there are no targets, no points system, and no pressure. It’s simple: you book a holiday, you earn a commission.
When you join, you’re actually gaining access to two businesses that come as part of the same package. The second element is entirely optional. It’s a marketing opportunity that works much like a ‘refer-a-friend’ system through an affiliate link.
If you choose to explore that side, it can open up additional income streams, but there’s absolutely no obligation to do so. Many people find they enjoy the business so much that they naturally share it with others and that’s where the extra rewards come in!
